Airdo co-presented on “Vulnerable Persons and the Law: Canonical Perspectives from the Diocese, the Seminary, and Religious Institutes” on October 11, 2022, at the 85th Annual Canon Law Society of America Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Airdo co-presented on a panel with Rev. Philip J. Brown, PSS, JD, JCD, and Susan Mulheron JCD (Cand.), provided attendees with advice and best practices from the perspective of religious orders regarding issues such as: who is considered a vulnerable person under civil law, how to draft policies on abuse prevention, and how to respond compassionately to allegations against vulnerable persons.
