Emily Richter graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where she studied Political Science and Public Health. While attending the U of M, Emily interned at the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. Upon obtaining her undergraduate degree, Emily worked as a Committee Legislative Assistant for the Health and Human Services Committee at the Minnesota House of Representatives and for a large, national home builder.
Emily graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in May 2022. During law school, she was a member of the International Law Moot Court Team, a licensed 711 student attorney, and obtained a certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Emily earned Dean’s Honor List in Fall 2020, Spring and Fall 2021, and Spring 2022, along with CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Trial Advocacy I and Legal Writing III. Prior to joining Airdo Werwas, Emily was an Associate Attorney at a family law firm in Chicago.
