Marcia Przeslawski’s practice focuses primarily on complex civil litigation matters in both Illinois and Indiana state and federal courts. Marcia represents and defends business owners, individuals, corporations, and not-for-profit corporations who are sued in a variety of commercial and employment disputes. She also counsels clients on transactional matters including contract drafting and negotiation, real estate transactions, corporate governance, municipal governance, policy formation, an various compliance issues.

Marcia graduated from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 2017. She obtained her Illinois law license in 2017 and her Indiana law license in 2020. During her law school career, Marcia was a teaching assistant for classes on contracts and torts, president of the Corporate Law Club, and she competed on the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution teams. She also gained practical experience by clerking in a litigation firm and by enrolling in many of The John Marshall Law School’s legal clinics, including the Pro Bono Litigation Clinic, the Business Enterprise Law Clinic, and the Fair Housing Support Center and Clinic.

Marcia volunteers with University of Illinois Chicago School of Law’s Trial Advocacy Dispute Resolution program, coaching teams of law students that compete nationally each spring and fall in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration competitions.
