Mitchell R. Paglia

Mitchell R. Paglia is an attorney on Airdo Werwas’ Litigation Team, where he represents clients in a variety of civil litigation matters. He brings extensive experience handling cases in both state and federal court and throughout all stages of the litigation process.

Prior to joining Airdo Werwas, Mitchell represented governmental entities in complex litigation involving contract disputes, personal injury, civil rights claims, governmental liability, and other civil matters. His experience includes drafting and arguing dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, managing discovery, and serving as both first- and second-chair at trial.

Mitchell previously served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the City of Chicago Department of Law, where he handled federal civil rights and municipal defense matters. Earlier in his career, he served as an Enforcement Attorney with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Securities Department and as Assistant Counselor in the Office of the Chief Legal Counsel for the Illinois House of Representatives.

Mitchell earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he received a Certificate in Advocacy and served as a Junior Editor of the Annals of Health Law & Children’s Legal Rights Journal. He earned his B.A. in Political Science and History, with a minor in Philosophy, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Mitchell draws on his broad litigation and government experience to provide thoughtful, practical advocacy tailored to the needs of each client and matter.
