About
Yujing Sheeler is an Associate Attorney at Airdo Werwas and a member of the firm's Employment Team. She advises employers in Illinois and nationwide on a broad range of employment matters, including workplace investigations, wage-and-hour disputes, employee relations, separation agreements, restrictive covenants, employment litigation, and day-to-day employment counseling. She also drafts and reviews employee handbooks, workplace policies, and other employment-related documents.
Yujing's practice includes detailed factual and legal analysis in employment disputes, workplace investigations, and litigation and administrative matters. She works with clients and other members of the Employment Team to identify legal and practical risks and develop effective strategies for addressing workplace concerns.
Before joining Airdo Werwas, Yujing worked in policy and compliance, where she analyzed legislative, statutory, and policy developments and worked with organizational leadership on compliance initiatives affecting the nonprofit and healthcare sectors.
Yujing earned her Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School in 2022, where she served on the Cornell International Law Journal. She was selected for Cornell University's 3+3 Accelerated Scholar Program and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University, with minors in East Asian Studies and China & Asia Pacific Studies. As an undergraduate, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Cornell International Affairs Review.
Yujing is admitted to practice in Illinois and is fluent in Mandarin and Shanghainese.
