About
Yujing Sheeler is an attorney whose practice focuses on employment counseling, workplace policy and compliance matters, and complex civil litigation. She advises clients on a broad range of employment-related issues and brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to matters involving regulatory compliance, institutional operations, and organizational risk management.
Prior to joining Airdo Werwas, LLC, Yujing worked in policy and compliance, where she monitored and analyzed state legislation, advised executive leadership on policy initiatives, and assisted organizations in navigating compliance with federal and state laws. Her experience includes legislative review, internal policy development, advocacy efforts, and operational compliance matters affecting nonprofit and mission-driven organizations.
Yujing earned her Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School in 2022. While in law school, she was a member of the International Law Journal and participated in Cornell’s accelerated 3+3 Scholar Program, graduating from Cornell University ahead of schedule based on academic excellence and campus leadership. Prior to law school, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government, with minors in East Asian Studies and China & Asia Pacific Studies, graduating with honors.
Before beginning her legal career in Chicago, Yujing gained experience in financial regulatory and transactional matters, including work involving contract review, SEC filings, and research related to emerging financial technologies. She also completed a legislative internship in Washington, D.C., supporting policy and legislative research on a variety of federal issues.
Yujing is admitted to practice in Illinois and is fluent in Mandarin and Shanghainese. In her free time, Yujing enjoys sketching, playing the violin, and walking her white German shepherd in Chicago Chinatown’s Ping Tom Park.
