Today, May 15, we join the Christian Brothers of the Midwest in celebrating Founder’s Day and honoring the enduring legacy of St. John Baptist de La Salle.
Nearly 350 years ago, De La Salle made the extraordinary decision to commit himself to a shared mission of education and service alongside a small group of teachers. What began “Together and by Association” continues today through the dedication of educators, administrators, staff, trustees, benefactors, families, and volunteers who remain committed to the educational service of the young, especially the poor.
At Airdo Werwas, we are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside mission-driven organizations whose commitment to faith, education, and service continues to positively impact students, families, and communities.
As Founder’s Day is celebrated, we recognize and thank all those who continue to carry this important mission forward.
