St. Francis of Assisi Feast Day

Yesterday, on the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, Pope Leo XIV reflected on the Saint’s call to repair the Church. Francis began by building his own life on Christ—through prayer, humility, and charity toward all. He helped heal divisions through the witness of brotherly love.

Eight centuries later, that witness still speaks to us. May St. Francis help us seek peace, mend what is broken, and build greater harmony among peoples.

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with us!
