What a wonderful story! Thank you to Theresa Civantos Barber and Aleteia for sharing the story behind the icon of Our Mother of Good Counsel, commissioned by our Founding Member Michael A. Airdo and created by Chicago artist Joseph Malham as a gift to Pope Leo XIV.
It's especially meaningful to see the care, artistry, and personal connections behind this gift recognized and shared with a wider audience.
We encourage everyone to take a moment to read the article!
