A Message from Pope Leo XIV on America's 250th Anniversary

As our nation celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we are grateful for the inspiring message shared by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV.

On the eve of Independence Day, Pope Leo XIV was honored with the 2026 Liberty Medal by the National Constitution Center in recognition of his lifelong commitment to promoting religious liberty, freedom of conscience, and human dignity around the world.

His message reminds us that the enduring principles of liberty, justice, faith, and service continue to shape our nation and challenge each of us to strengthen our communities and care for one another.
