Today, we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary under one of her most cherished titles. Rooted in the rich tradition of the Carmelite Order, this feast reminds us of Mary's steadfast faith, her loving intercession, and her enduring call to draw closer to Christ. For many, the Brown Scapular serves as a visible sign of that devotion and a daily reminder of a life lived in prayer, service, and trust in God.
On this special feast day, we are honored to recognize and celebrate our Carmelite clients, including the Congregation of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, the Discalced Carmelite Friars, the Discalced Carmelite Nuns, and the Mary, Queen of Carmel Association. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve these remarkable organizations and for their faithful witness through lives dedicated to prayer, compassion, education, healthcare, and service to the Church.
