Feast of Saints Cyril and Methodius

Today, we celebrate the Feast of Saints Cyril and Methodius, brothers whose missionary work transformed the spread of Christianity throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Through their faith, scholarship, and dedication to sharing the Gospel in the language of the people, they helped bring countless souls closer to Christ and left a lasting legacy that continues to inspire the Church today.

Their example reminds us that meaningful communication, respect for culture, and a commitment to serving others can build bridges that endure for generations.

On this feast day, we also honor Sister Deborah Borneman, SS.C.M., whose life and ministry reflect the enduring charism of the Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius. We are grateful for her faithful witness, leadership, and service to the Church.
