We are pleased to share that today, Jake A. Leahy is presenting at the Illinois Association of Township Administrators Meeting hosted by Ela Township.
His session, "Advanced Topics in Township Foundations: Understanding the Role of the 501(c)(3) Organization," will explore the legal and practical considerations surrounding township foundations, including governance, charitable purposes, compliance obligations, and best practices for supporting township programs through affiliated nonprofit organizations.
We are grateful to Hanover Township Administrator James Barr and Oak Park Township Manager Evan Michel for the invitation to speak at the meeting. We appreciate the opportunity to share our experience and look forward to an engaging discussion with township administrators from across Illinois.
