Cristo Rey St. Viator: Mission, Governance & Responsibility

This week, Michael A. Airdo will travel to Las Vegas to present to the faculty, staff and Board of Trustees of Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School.

His presentations will focus on the legal and canonical framework that supports Catholic school governance, including stewardship and sponsorship, public juridic persons, corporate structure, reserved powers, trustee fiduciary responsibilities, the unique rights of Catholic schools and student safety.

These issues sit at the intersection of mission, governance and legal responsibility, and understanding how they work together is essential to protecting both the institution and the people it serves.

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to these important conversations and to support Catholic educational institutions as they navigate the responsibilities that come with carrying their mission forward.
