Michael Airdo presented on a series of topics at LeadingAge Illinois’s 2019 Annual Meeting & Expo, from April 2-4, 2019. Michael presented with Dorrie Seyfried, the Vice President of Risk Management Services for IMPG, on the topics of Crisis Response: What to Do When Media, Law Enforcement, and Regulatory Agencies are at the Door; Long Term Care Charting: What to Chart and When from a Legal Perspective; and, they also provided guidance for facility administrators in managing the risks created by social media in the long term care environment. Joined by Mike Miller, the Director of IMPG’s Health Care Division, Michael spoke on the legal implications of the Illinois Nursing Home Care Act.
