Last Thursday, Founding Member Michael A. Airdo joined Sister Sharon Euart, RSM, JCD, Executive Director of the Resource Center for Religious Institutes (RCRI), for a webinar discussing the practical and legal considerations surrounding External Review Boards within Religious Institutes.
Together, they explored practical considerations for establishing and utilizing External Review Boards, including board composition, training, governance, accountability, risk management, and the integration of Review Boards into existing leadership structures. The program also addressed the role of legal counsel and key considerations related to privilege and discovery in civil litigation.
We are grateful to RCRI for the opportunity to be part of this important conversation and for its continued commitment to serving Religious Institutes through education, guidance, and support. It is always a privilege to work with organizations dedicated to helping religious communities strengthen their governance structures while remaining grounded in their mission, values, and commitment to those they serve.
