Day Two in Los Angeles!

Our team is back for the second and final day of “Supporting the Mission: A Legal Conference for Religious in Los Angeles,” presented for the Office of the Vicar for Religious of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Today’s focus is Supporting the Mission and the Members. Founding Members Michael A. Airdo and Mollie E. Werwas and Senior Counsel Elizabeth Yanan will continue the conference with discussions focused on the people and relationships at the heart of religious institutes.

Throughout today’s sessions, they will explore practical considerations surrounding employees and volunteers, supporting members and communities through periods of change, responsible tax-exempt stewardship, and emerging legal and operational issues affecting religious institutes.

We are grateful to the Office of the Vicar for Religious for the opportunity to share our experience, engage in thoughtful conversations, and spend these two days alongside those dedicated to serving and strengthening religious life throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

A wonderful way to conclude two meaningful days of learning, collaboration, and shared commitment to supporting the mission.
