Private: Update Regarding NLRB Posting Requirements

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) issued a final rule requiring all employers covered by the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), to post a notice informing employees of their rights under the NLRA. The original posting requirement was effective on Nov. 14, 2011, and covers both union and non-union employers.

On October 5, 2011, NLRB postponed the implementation of its final rule. The new effective date is January 31, 2012. There have been no changes to the substance of the rule.
