Recognizing the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Recognizing the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

As we celebrate Women’s History Month this March, we are honored to recognize the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and their enduring commitment to justice and education. Inspired by the charism of Nano Nagle, they continue to reach out with courage and compassion to those on the margins, bringing light, opportunity, and hope to the communities they serve.

We offer special recognition to Sister Pam Chiesa, whose more than 50 years of dedicated ministry beautifully embody that mission. From her years teaching at Presentation High Schools in San Jose and San Francisco to her service in congregational leadership, Sister Pam has guided her community with wisdom, generosity, and steady faith. Her life reflects a deep commitment not only to education, but to the flourishing of her Sisters and all those entrusted to their care.

Sister Pam’s leadership stands as a testament to the lasting impact of women religious who lead with both conviction and compassion.
