Felicia L. Owen

Attorney

Felicia L. Owen is a civil litigator whose practice focuses on complex litigation, employment and policy matters, and crisis response. She represents religious institutes, religiously sponsored ministries, nonprofits, and municipal entities, with a particular emphasis on matters arising at the intersection of civil law and religious law.

Felicia regularly advises institutional clients on sensitive and high-stakes issues requiring discretion, strategic judgment, and thoughtful coordination across jurisdictions. Her work includes complex civil litigation, employment-related matters, internal policy development, and crisis response, often in situations involving mission-driven organizations navigating both legal risk and institutional values. She is known for her practical, solutions-oriented approach and for guiding clients through challenging circumstances with clarity, care, and professionalism.

Felicia earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2021. Prior to joining Airdo Werwas, she practiced in Wisconsin, where she developed a strong litigation foundation with a focus on family law, mediation, and Guardian ad Litem work. This background continues to inform her client-centered approach and her ability to manage matters involving heightened personal, institutional, and reputational considerations.

Felicia has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to leadership and service within the legal community. She has served as a Governor on the Wisconsin State Bar Board of Governors, Treasurer of the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association, and President of the Marquette Hispanic-Latino Law Student Association. During law school, she interned with the Wisconsin Governor’s Office and the Milwaukee Corporation Counsel.
