As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we are proud to recognize the leadership and dedication of Susana Cantu and Laura Cole, whose work continues to make a meaningful impact on the Discalced Carmelite Friars and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower.
As Executive Director of Administration and Finance, Susana Cantu provides thoughtful stewardship and strategic oversight, helping ensure the long-term strength and sustainability of the Carmelite mission. Laura Cole, as Manager of Business Operations, plays an integral role in supporting day-to-day operations and strengthening the systems that allow the Friars to carry out their work effectively.
Together, Susana and Laura exemplify commitment, collaboration, and excellence in service. Their contributions help sustain and advance the mission of the Discalced Carmelite Friars, ensuring it continues to serve others with faith, compassion, and care.
