This Women’s History Month, we are proud to recognize the leadership and service of the women helping to guide Palatine Township. Their work strengthens local government and supports the needs of a vibrant and diverse community across Cook County.
We extend special recognition to Clerk A. Christine Svenson, who, with a background in law, brings a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to her role, supporting transparency, accuracy, and civic engagement for Township residents. We also recognize Trustee Sahinoglu, whose experience as an educator and deep connection to the community brings compassion and perspective to Township governance. Administrator Anna Chychula plays a vital role in overseeing daily operations, strategic planning, and programs that ensure residents have access to essential services.
Together, their leadership reflects a shared commitment to responsive, effective government and the meaningful impact women continue to make in public service.
