This Women’s History Month, we are proud to recognize the leadership of women strengthening mental health and community support through their service on the Schaumburg Township Mental Health Board. Since the board’s establishment to guide funding and planning for local mental health, developmental disability, and substance use services, their work has helped expand access to critical resources for residents across the township.
A special shout‑out to Lauren Saternus (Troyer), Vice President of the Board and community advocate; Quinette Hobson-Robb, Executive Director guiding operations and collaboration; MaryAnn Ogilvie, Board Secretary helping ensure effective governance; and Megan Stenberg, whose service as a board member brings fresh perspective and commitment to the mission. Their collective dedication exemplifies the powerful role women play in advancing equitable, compassionate mental health services at the local level.
