December 8, 2024, marks the 130th anniversary of the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, a valued client whose work has touched countless lives. Founded by Mother Mary Theresa Dudzik to care for the poor, aged, and orphaned, the Sisters have built a remarkable legacy—from opening Chicago’s first nursing home in 1898 to expanding elder care and education ministries.
