Thank you to everyone who joined us at Rate Field on Saturday to celebrate the election of Pope Leo XIV, the first North American and first Augustinian pontiff. It was a joy to gather with so many from across the Archdiocese for an afternoon of prayer, reflection, and community.
We were proud to see Father John Merkelis from the Midwest Augustinians speak on a panel during the event and grateful to reconnect with clients and friends. Dinner afterward was a wonderful way to end the day, especially with the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas and Sister Sue Sanders, who traveled to Chicago for the celebration.
