James Jansen presented two sessions at the 2025 LeadingAge Iowa Spring Conference & Solutions Expo in Altoona, Iowa on May 7. His first presentation, Policy Matters: Ensuring Compliance and Quality Care in Long-Term Care Facilities, covered statutory and regulatory requirements and provided practical guidance on drafting effective, facility-specific policies and training staff to ensure consistent implementation. His second session, Managing the Employee Lifecycle, focused on strategies for reducing liability throughout the employment process, including recruitment, onboarding, and separation, while maintaining compliance and supporting organizational goals.
