Airdo Werwas, LLC, was honored to co-host a lunch on behalf of Maryland Governor Wes Moore. The Governor has been a friend of the Firm, and one of its Founding Members, Michael A. Airdo, ever since 2016, when Mr. Moore served as the IADC Annual Meeting Speaker and addressed issues stemming from economic inequality and poverty. At the most recent luncheon, Governor Moore spoke about his work to reduce violent crime, expand employment opportunities, and invest in communities. He reflected on the lessons of leadership and inclusion he carried from his military service and his guiding principle of leaving no one behind. In response to questions about working with governors of different political backgrounds, he emphasized the importance of dialogue across ideological divides and recognizing shared values in service of building a stronger, safer society.
