Recognizing Sister Deborah Borneman, PHJC

Recognizing Sister Deborah Borneman, PHJC

Women’s History Month and Catholic Sisters Week give us the opportunity to recognize Sister Deborah Borneman, PHJC, Director of Mission Integration for the National Religious Vocation Conference.

Sister Deborah has spent her ministry walking alongside those discerning their vocation, offering encouragement, wisdom, and genuine joy in the process. A member of the Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius, she brings both experience and heartfelt compassion to her work, reminding others that responding to God’s call is not only possible, but life-giving.

In her role with the NRVC, she helps form and support vocation ministers across the country, creating spaces where discernment is nurtured and hope is strengthened. Those who work with Sister Deborah quickly see her sincerity, her deep love for religious life, and her desire to help others discover where they are most called to serve.

We are honored to recognize Sister Deborah’s faithful witness and the countless lives she has touched through her ministry.
