Recognizing the Scalabrinian Sisters and Sister Catherine Petalcurin, MSCS

In recognition of Women’s History Month and Catholic Sisters Week, we honor the Scalabrinian Sisters for their steadfast commitment to migrants and refugees throughout the world.

Founded in Italy and now serving globally, the Scalabrinian Sisters respond to the realities of migration through education, healthcare, pastoral outreach, and advocacy. Their ministry reflects a profound dedication to accompanying those who are displaced, vulnerable, or seeking a new beginning, living out the Gospel through presence and action.

We also recognize Sister Catherine Petalcurin, MSCS, whose faithful service embodies the heart of this mission. Through her compassion, leadership, and attentiveness to those she serves, she continues the Congregation’s longstanding witness of hope and solidarity.

We are proud to stand alongside Sister Catherine and the Scalabrinian Sisters as they continue their vital work in communities around the world.
