Recognizing the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Women’s History Month and Catholic Sisters Week offer a meaningful opportunity to recognize the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and their enduring commitment to bringing Christ’s love into the world.

Inspired by the heart of Jesus and the legacy of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, the Missionary Sisters dedicate their lives to hospitality, peace, justice, and compassionate service. Present across six continents, they minister to those most in need, especially women, children, immigrants, and frail elders, embodying a missionary spirit expressed through prayer, community, and action.

We especially recognize Sister Barbara Staley, MSC, and Sister Diane Olmstead, MSC, whose faithful leadership and ministry reflect the congregation’s charism of welcome and reconciliation. Through their dedication, they continue to serve with openness to God’s call and a readiness to respond wherever the need is greatest.

We are honored to support the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to recognize the women who carry forward this global mission of compassion and hope.
